Sammy Guevara Defends Tay Conti As Online Abuse Leads Her To Leave Social Media

AEW's Sammy Guevara has taken to social media to defend friend Tay Conti after a small group of 'fans' attacked her following his split from long-term girlfriend Pam Nizio.

Guevara and Nizio announced late last week that their relationship had come to an amicable end but some individuals on social media speculated that the TNT Champion's close friendship with Conti was a contributing factor in their split.

This led to some so-called 'fans' sending abuse to both Conti and Guevara, with the latter using Twitter to debunk the malicious rumours, saying that the end of his relationship with Nizio was not down to anyone else.

Writing on social media, Guevara said: "“This shouldn’t have to be said… but my relationship with Pam ending had nothing to do with ANYONE else. Pam and I broke up back in October and just now felt was the time to make it publicly known. So please stop pointing fingers and looking for someone to blame.”

Conti has since deleted her Twitter account and revealed that her management team has taken control of her Instagram.
