Seth Rollins Channels Jon Moxley In Latest CM Punk Insult
Seth Rollins has invoked Jon Moxley when insulting CM Punk
Although Seth Rollins isn’t set to face CM Punk at the forthcoming WWE WrestleMania XL, the World Heavyweight Champion hasn’t taken his eye off the ‘Straight Edge Superstar’.
Rollins was on a collision course with Punk until Punk was ruled out of action with a triceps tear, and Rollins took aim at the controversial former WWE Champion during an appearance on Wrestle Radio Australia ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber:
"I mean, I don't want to say I told you so. But me and a lot of other people told you so. What's the line? Fragile mind. Fragile body. Fragile ego. I think somebody that I know said something like that about him and it rings true. So look here's the deal and I told him this in the ring, if you want to find your way to me and the World Heavyweight Championship you're gonna have to work for it, the deal is he's gonna have to work a little harder now,” Rollins said.
Rollins was of course channelling former SHIELD team-mate Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) with Moxley calling Punk’s mind, body, and ego into question during his feud with Punk over the AEW World Championship in 2022.
