Seth Rollins has addressed the attack on him by a fan during this past week's WWE Monday Night Raw, admitting the situation was 'terrifying'.

The New York Police Department confirmed they have charged a 24-year-old man with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs after he jumped the barricade at the November 22 Raw, and attacked Rollins.

Speaking for the first time on the attack, Rollins says the entire incident happened quickly and he thankfully did not sustain any injuries.

Rollins told TMZ: "It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is okay.

"It's terrifying, brother.

"No, no serious injuries. Nothing like that. I was safe, we were safe. Everything was okay."

The Messiah also stated his belief that the individual in question should not be permitted to attend WWE events in the future, adding: "I think as a precedence he probably should not be allowed at the events."
