Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels has been saying that he may have one or two matches left in the tank, according to JDC (AKA Fandango).
JDC, who is currently a wrestler and producer for TNA, recently stopped by NXT, where he manged to speak to the brand's overseer.
During a recent Q&A session (alongside Tyler Breeze) at the For The Love of Wrestling convention, JDC revealed what Michaels said to him backstage, saying:
"You know who I talked to last week who said he's got one or two matches left in him? Shawn Michaels. He's the reason why I got into the business so, honestly, it'd probably never happen but that would be my dream match with Shawn".
The Heartbreak Kid has occasionally gotten physical on WWE and NXT television in the past couple of years, including on the January 25 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, where he hit Kevin Owens with Sweet Chin Music.
About a month prior to their in-ring interaction, Owens conceded that he was ready to give up trying to get the 59-year-old out of retirement. Perhaps after hearing what JDC had to say, he might not throw in the towel just yet.
Michaels last wrestled at Crown Jewel 2018, where he teamed up with Triple H to defeat The Undertaker and Kane. He later admitted his regret at unretiring for the match.
