Tag Team Title Match Set For June 24 IMPACT Wrestling
Kojima and Edwards are after tag team gold
Satoshi Kojima will have the opportunity to add another title to his already legendary career next week.
The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion went one on one with Rhino on this week's edition of IMPACT and if Kojima won, he would earn a tag team title shot for himself and Eddie Edwards.
The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champions battled back and forth for 11 minutes and Kojima managed to pick up the win after a Koji Cutter and Cozy Lariat.
IMPACT then announced that Kojima and Eddie Edwards will take on Violent By Design's Joe Doering and Deaner for the gold on next week's show.
Kojima has been at war with Violent By Design since his debut, experiencing mixed success. He managed to defeat Deaner during the build to Against All Odds, but Kojima's former AJPW rival Joe Doering defeated him at the June 12 pay-per-view.
Also announced for next week's IMPACT Wrestling is Deonna Purrazzo vs. Susan, Kiera Hogan vs. Rosemary, and Rohit Raju & Shera vs. Petey Williams & Trey Miguel.
