The Revival Reportedly Offered Five-Year $500,000 Contracts By WWE - Yet To Accept

Former Raw Tag Team Champions asked for their releases back in January...

Fightful are reporting that former Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival have been offered bumper new contracts to stay with WWE.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Fightful's report states: "Fightful Select sources informed us that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of the Revival were offered five year, $500,000 per year deals in which weren't accepted, at least as of yet."

The news comes hours after Jim Ross claimed WWE paid an undercard talent - who AEW were presumably interested in signing - $500,000 to stay with the company (thanks to Fightful once again for the transcription): “I asked about one guy in WWE, who’s an undercard guy — been there a while, solid hand, could help the younger guys learn because he’s at that age now, early 30s, and they say, ‘Well he’s not available. He just signed for half-a-million dollars."

Both Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson have seemingly been trying to leave WWE for most of this year after reportedly asking for their respective releases back in January. After winning the Raw tag titles from Bobby Roode and Chad Gable on February 11, the Top Guys lost them to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder on the WrestleMania 35 Kickoff Show.
