The Young Bucks recently departed All Elite Wrestling TV in a hurry, and it seems the AEW EVPs won’t be back until next year.

After recently dropping the AEW World Tag Team Championships to Private Party in October, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson were later shown shredding documents in a backstage segment on AEW Dynamite before exiting the arena in a hurry as lackey Brandon Cutler got beat down by The Death Riders.

Reports after the segment aired suggested The Bucks were being written off TV for a while, with an update from Mike Johnson during a PWInsider Q&A session stating that it’s believed the Jacksons won’t be back on AEW TV in 2024, with the two going on a break until after the New Year.

It remains to be seen if The Bucks will be heading to Tokyo for NJPW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025, with former Elite partner Kenny Omega looking likely to be wrestling at the event after setting up an angle with Bullet Club War Dog Gabe Kidd.

The Young Bucks last wrestled on the October 30 Fright Night edition of AEW Dynamite.
