Title Matches Confirmed For WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2024

Titles will be on the line at WWE NXT Vengeance Day

We are on the road to the third annual NXT Vengeance Day event, with Tennessee’s F&M Bank Arena set to play host on February 4.

On the January 16 edition of NXT TV, both the NXT Men’s and Women’s Championships were declared to be on the line at the event, with Champions Ilja Dragunov and Lyra Valkyria hoping they can successfully defend their gold.

Dragunov returned to NXT on January 16 after being out for several weeks after being ‘injured’ at the hands of Ridge Holland. Dragunov had words for rival Carmelo Hayes, informing Hayes that he’d see him for their long awaited title clash at Vengeance Day. When Hayes complained that he and partner Trick Williams were in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semi Finals - with the Finals set for Vengeance Day - Williams simply stated that Hayes could pull double duty.

In the NXT Women’s Title scene, former champion Roxanne Perez won a show closing Battle Royal to earn a shot at Valkyria. When the Battle Royal got down the final four of Perez, Fallon Henley, Kiana James, and Kelani Jordan the match became a fatal four way, with Perez pinning Jordan to earn her shot. A contract signing will take place on the January 23 NXT.

Whilst not yet confirmed, it seems as though Dragon Lee wants a rematch against NXT North American Champion Oba Femi at Vengeance Day. Lee challenged Oba Femi for a match there and then on January 16, but was rebuffed by the new champ who said he’d consider giving him a shot at the PLE.

Confirmed card, NXT Vengeance Day, February 4 2024:

  • Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes - NXT Championship
  • Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez - NXT Women’s Championship
  • TBC vs. TBC - The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2024 Final
