A news story emerged over the last couple of days from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that following the TNA exit of Scott D’Amore, it was now Tommy Dreamer who was set to be the new Head Of Creative for the company.

However, in the hours that have followed there were reports debunking this story, in addition to Tommy Dreamer himself speaking up about it. PWInsider have revealed that the story of Dreamer being Head Of Creative is “100% incorrect”, detailing that the creative team made up of Tommy Dreamer, RD Evans, and Hunter “Delirious” Johnson won’t be changing in their dynamic, and both Gail Kim and Jorge Barbosa will be added to the team too.

In terms of who is leading the creative team, PWInsider has noted that Ariel Shnerer will be overseeing this aspect and others going forwards, working alongside TNA President Anthony Cicione, who will ultimately have the final say on things.

Dreamer himself responded to these rumours on Busted Open Radio, incredulously denying that he is the new Head Of Creative.

“Oof. I’m so glad people know things about my life that I don’t know. Everything is staying intact how it was before, with myself, Robert Evans, and Delirious from Ring of Honor. So there are no changes, and I purposely made sure that was a thing. So, whoever reported about myself and my life, thank you.

“But as someone who has been doing the same stuff for the entire time I’ve been there, nothing has changed. Thanks for the promotion. I hope I get a raise with this fictitious position. Because if I was head of creative, you know Moose is losing the title to me at whatever the next show is. Book myself on top, brother!”
