Top TNA Star Expected To Join WWE

A top TNA star could be set to join WWE

One of TNA Wrestling’s top stars is expected to leave the company and sign with WWE upon the expiration of their current deal.

Per a report from Fightful Select, current IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Trinity is expected to finish up with TNA and become a free agent, having joined the company in April 2023. It is unknown as of writing if Trinity will finish with TNA at Hard to Kill on January 13, where she is set to put the title on the line against Jordynne Grace.

Sources within WWE told Fightful that "something huge would have to happen for her to not end up back in WWE sooner than later, but this is a crazy free agent period,” with Trinity (fka Naomi) originally expected back in the company in January 2023 prior to an internal hiring freeze in the company.

Trinity walked out of WWE in May 2022 alongside tag partner Sasha Banks, with the then reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions unhappy with their booking, and the state of the women’s tag division. Banks (aka Mercedes Moné) was recently linked with a move back to WWE, but those talks have apparently ended. She is expected to join AEW instead.
