Trick Williams Says He Goes Straight To Shawn Michaels For Any Advice

Trick Williams recently became a two-time NXT Champion, defeating Ethan Page on the October 2 episode of NXT, which marked the brand’s debut on The CW. Williams is still early into his professional wrestling career, so he ensures to go to the very best for advice when he needs it. 

When speaking to The Happy Hour podcast, Williams revealed that when he wants help and advice, he simply heads straight to NXT’s head, Shawn Michaels himself, bypassing trainers and others. 

“Honestly, I’m going straight to Shawn at this point. For where I want to be and where I see myself in my career, there are only a few people who are going to push me and give me the real like I really need to hear. That’s Shawn Michaels, Terry Taylor, Booker T, even CM Punk. CM Punk has been around a lot and he’s been very helpful for us. I would say those four guys."

Williams will be taking on Ethan Page in a rematch at tonight’s Halloween Havoc event, defending the gold in a Devil’s Playground match.
