Paul "Triple H" Levesque will remain head of WWE creative for the foreseeable future as he has signed a new multi-year deal with the company.
WWE President Nick Khan announced to staff during a town hall meeting at WWE HQ on Monday that Triple H had been signed to a new deal, audio of the meeting published by POST Wrestling has revealed.
"A number of us [TKO President] Mark [Shapiro], [TKO CFO] Andrew [Schleimer], others, were able to get Paul Levesque to extend with us in a multi-year deal. We're excited about that. He's the head of creative amongst other things and has been doing a great job for and with us," Khan said.
The exact length of Triple H's new contract has not been revealed, but PWInsider noted that Paul Levesque's deal is possibly as long as three years and it was signed prior to WrestleMania 42 weekend.
Triple H's official job title is WWE Chief Content Officer, a role he was appointed to in September 2022. Paul Levesque became head of creative in July of that year following Vince McMahon's brief retirement, although it has been revealed that Triple H and McMahon would often be in conflict over WWE creative until as late as December 2023, and Triple H considers his first WrestleMania as head of creative to be 2024's WrestleMania XL.
While he is head of creative, Triple H doesn't retain the final say on WWE creative as TKO CEO Ari Emanuel and TKO President Mark Shapiro can overrule Paul Levesque or add their own ideas to WWE TV, such as with the disastrous insertion of Pat McAfee into the WrestleMania 42 programme between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
