Upcoming AEW Match To Be Sponsored By SEGA

SEGA set to sponsor upcoming AEW match

All Elite Wrestling are set to run a sponsorship deal with SEGA, with the legendary video game publisher set to sponsor an upcoming match.

Per a report from Fightful Select, SEGA are set to put their name to the upcoming eight-man tag match pitting The Don Callis Family against Chris Jericho, Paul Wight, and The Golden Lovers Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega. Whilst the nature of this promotion hasn’t yet been revealed, it’s believed that video content has been produced for the collaboration.

AEW are no stranger to match sponsorship deals, with Cracker Barrel having hosted the Cracker Barrel Clash between Darby Allin, Jimmy Havoc, and Joey Janela at All Out 2019.

As for video game tie-ins, Kenny Omega in particular is a noted video game enthusiast, having dressed as Akuma from Street Fighter, and characters from Undertale and Destiny during his career. AEW even released officially licensed action figures featuring The Elite dressed as Street Fighter characters, with The Young Bucks portraying Ken and Ryu.
