Update On MJF's Whereabouts Following Removal From AEW Roster Page

Amidst his hiatus from All Elite Wrestling, MJF's whereabouts have been confirmed and he isn't in the United States.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, MJF is currently on holiday in Costa Rica. The former AEW World Champion looks to be on vacation with girlfriend Alicia Atout. 

MJF has been off AEW TV since he dropped the AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe at the Worlds End pay-per-view at the end of 2023. MJF was then taken out by The Devil and his minions to end the show, who were revealed to be Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Wardlow. 

MJF has since been removed from the AEW roster page to play into the "bidding war of 2024" angle. He is believed to have signed a multi-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling in 2022 and he is taking time off to heal from a number of injuries. 

Friedman could be out of action for up to a year if he requires surgery to repair his torn labrum. He is also dealing with a hip injury that he suffered hitting the Flying Elbow to the outside at Full Gear.
