Update On Orange Cassidy's Injury

Orange Cassidy on the shelf with an injury

All Elite Wrestling provided an update on Orange Cassidy's injury on Wednesday.

Reports following the Revolution pay-per-view noted Cassidy suffered a shoulder injury during the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match, but it was not known how long he would be out of action.

Cassidy accompanied Wheeler Yuta to the ring with his arm in a sling on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite for the former IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion's match against PAC. Commentary confirmed The King Of Sloth Style suffered a left arm injury at Revolution but it was noted he will not require surgery. No timetable was set for his return.

AEW revealed Cassidy suffered the injury after he was thrown from the ring to the outside by Keith Lee. Orange flew over the men on the outside who were supposed to break his fall, though, and he hit the ramp hard.

Before the Ladder Match, Orange Cassidy had been feuding with Adam Cole and he defeated the former NXT Champion in a Lights Out Match at Beach Break in January.
