Update On Sasha Banks WWE Status

A lot has been written about Sasha Banks and Bayley since The Boss 'n' Hug Connection lost their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35.

The latest we learned about Sasha Banks specifically is that she was recently given time off by WWE to think about her future, and is expected to be back at work for the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on May 19.

Now, Dave Meltzer claims that Sasha and WWE are still at a stalemate, with her future in the company still uncertain. WWE are also reportedly willing to let The Legit Boss sit out the rest of her contract like they did with former Cruiserweight Champion Neville back in 2017.

Here's what Meltzer said on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio: "Sasha Banks, the situation is unchanged. They are right now at a stalemate and the word, of course, you know how this goes, but the word is that if she wants to sit out the rest of her contract she can sit out the rest of her contract.

"Of course, if you know what that means that means she's going to be sitting out forever because they're going to add time for her not working. These contracts are very, very difficult."
