Update On Vince McMahon's Netflix Documentary

The ongoing lawsuit and allegations against McMahon have left the documentary's status unknown.

Dave Meltzer has given an update on the upcoming Vince McMahon Netflix documentary, and highly expects it to be delayed. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer stated:

"I haven't heard anything about the doc. This changes the whole doc 100%. [...] They were done. It was going to be out very, very soon. I don't know how it can possibly be out very, very soon now.

"Vince himself said he wanted an honest doc. I don't think he wanted it this honest, and I don't think, at the time, he knew that these skeletons would be coming out of the closet. And the stuff that he thought was covered up ended up being uncovered."

It seems unlikely that Netflix would release the documentary without making significant changes, given the ongoing lawsuit against McMahon, and the surrounding allegations made. The streaming service also finds itself closely linked with WWE now, having announced a deal to bring Raw to Netflix from the beginning of 2025.

The allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking made against McMahon are said to currently be the subject of investigation by federal authorities.
