Velveteen Dream Returns To Pro Wrestling At Indy Event

Velveteen Dream wrestled for the first time since 2020 at an Indy event

It has been a newsworthy 2024 thus far for Velveteen Dream, who released an apology video earlier in January. Whilst not directly addressing the sexual misconduct allegations against him or claims made by EC3 of him allegedly filming other talents in a bathroom, he did apologise for his “behaviour” over the last few years which eventually resulted in his firing from WWE. His apology stretched to the likes of Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

After it was also revealed that Dream had recently reached out to Booker T regarding a potential professional wrestling comeback which didn’t come to fruition, it seems clear that Dream has one thing in mind, and that is to get back into the business in some way. Last night, he finally did so. For the first time since his last WWE match in 2020 when he wrestled Adam Cole in a losing effort on NXT programming, Dream has now returned to in-ring competition.

His return came in Albany, New York at a Dynasty event, showing up unannounced and issuing an open challenge which saw Dream defeat American Muscle Alec Odin.
