WWE NXT Fans Warned About Profanity Following Last Week's Swearing

NXT fans were told to not use swear words again, with warnings of ejections

On the episode of NXT following Vengeance Day, Carmelo Hayes emerged on the developmental brand to explain his attack and heel turn on former friend Trick Williams. The fans in attendance showed nothing but hatred towards Hayes, targeting him with harsh swear words and profanity. The venue was filled up with chants of “F**k you Melo!” though this wasn’t entirely appreciated by those in the back in NXT, who quickly tried to squash this sort of language.

It was reported that the fans in the arena were told that they would have to take the show off the air if the swearing continued, and this did result in the audience not repeating their chants. On this week’s episode of NXT, Fightful Select reported that the NXT audience was once again addressed regarding profanity.

Prior to the show, the fans were told that possible ejections may occur if the language repeats that of the previous week. It is noted in the report from Fightful though that despite claims that the show could be taken off the air, there was reportedly “no chance” of this actually happening.
