Vince McMahon, AEW And Colt Cabana Podcast Referenced During Seth Rollins & CM Punk Raw Promo

CM Punk and Seth Rollins met in the ring armed with microphones on the December 30 edition of WWE RAW, with the two heated rivals verbally sparring on live TV.

As expected, it was a promo battle for the ages, with the two seemingly leaving no stone unturned as they sought to one up one another, referencing All Elite Wrestling, Colt Cabana, and even Vince McMahon.

Rollins took issue with how Punk seemingly went out of his way to badmouth WWE during his years away from the company, with Punk retorting that he didn’t hate WWE he just “hated the guy in charge, who loved you,” referencing Vince McMahon, and how heavily Rollins was pushed during McMahon’s time in charge of the company.

Rollins fired back, referencing Punk’s infamous appearance on former best friend Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast, then noting how Punk took a big paycheque from the competition (AEW) and asking Punk rhetorically “how did that work out?”

The two are finally set to meet in a WWE ring on the January 6 episode of RAW, with their last singles encounter coming on the December 30 2013 edition of RAW.
