Vince McMahon reportedly won't be involved in the day-to-day running of the new entertainment company he and a group of loyalists are in the process of setting up.

That is according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who reported that he has been told Vince will be "more of a backer" of the new company as opposed to someone who will be on movie and TV sets. The new entertainment company will be centred around backing and producing movies and TV projects, and there has been talk of possibly setting up a podcast network in California.

Johnson further noted that the new company is in the very early stages and they are currently reaching out to talent liaisons and studios to build relationships. The hope is the company can officially launch in Q1 2025 but this would be reliant upon Vince McMahon's legal issues being resolved.

The new company may already have an office in Santa Monica but Johnson could not 100 per cent confirm that was the case. The new company is not planning to run a pro wrestling show, though.

In addition to Vince McMahon, former WWE COO Brad Blum and former WWE Senior Vice President of Entertainment Relations Kristen Prouty are involved in setting up the new company.

Vince McMahon is no longer directly involved in the day-to-day running of WWE but he remains a TKO shareholder, holding 8,021,405 shares. McMahon owns just under 5 per cent of TKO Group Holdings.
