Speculation emerged about the status of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns on Friday Night SmackDown on Monday after both the Undisputed WWE Champion and Reigns were advertised for Raw's premiere on Netflix.

Despite Rhodes and Reigns being advertised, they are not planned to permanently move to Raw from SmackDown, Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite reported.

"No, Roman and Cody are not leaving SmackDown to go to Raw. It is just that it's all guns blazing and they're going to do every single thing they can to make that Netflix debut in Los Angeles as important as possible on January 6th. It's that simple," Mike Johnson said.

Reports have noted that WWE plan to make the Raw premiere on Netflix a pay-per-view-calibre show. The episode will air from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on January 6 and rapper Travis Scott will be in attendance.

Netflix had reportedly hoped to have Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk on Monday Night Raw but they seemingly won't be getting their wish outside of 'The Second City Saviour'. Other top stars on WWE Raw include Gunther, Damian Priest, and Seth Rollins.
