WWE Moved 2,500 Tickets For Raw Following Cody Rhodes-Rock Angle

Cody Rhodes moves tickets for WWE Raw

The angle between The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns helped move tickets for the February 5 edition of Monday Night Raw.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, around 2,500 tickets were sold for Raw following last week's episode of SmackDown. Raw emanated from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

"I don't know. It doesn't feel like there's certainly an audience that hates it. But, you know, there was 10,000 people [at Raw], you know, and here's the other thing, too, is like, whatever they're doing, it's sure working. Because, like tonight's show, just a couple of days ago, they had, like, 7600 tickets out. There are over 10,000 people there tonight. I mean, you don't move that many tickets from Friday to Monday, ever. So whatever it is, people are buying this thing. They are paying to see it. You know, I think that there's going to be a ton of people at T-Mobile [Arena] on Thursday," Meltzer said.

The angle on SmackDown saw Cody Rhodes step aside for The Rock to main event WrestleMania 40, a moment which fans have revolted against. The situation has reportedly since been turned into a work and Cody Rhodes has urged fans to trust him.
