WWE NXT Spoilers For February 20 Episode

Full SPOILERS for WWE NXT on February 20

Due to key NXT people being needed in Perth, Australia during Elimination Chamber week, WWE opted to tape the February 20 edition of NXT from the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday night following the live episode. The taping featured two title matches, a serious injury, and a surprise return.

SPOILERS AHEAD

WWE NXT opened with a title match as Oba Femi successfully defended the NXT North American Championship against Lexis King, retaining his title after five minutes following a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Robert Stone became involved in the action, watching from the entrance ramp before he was taken out by King.

Roxanne Perez was then in action in the second match of the show, defeating Wren Sinclair by submission with a Crossface. Former tag team partners then faced off in the third match as Josh Briggs defeated Brooks Jensen, with Briggs hugging his opponent following the match.

New NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin cut a promo on NXT and made some jokes at each other's expense before they were interrupted by Andre Chase & Duke Hudson of Chase U and Nathan Frazer & Axiom. This set up a number-one contender's match for later in the show that was won by Chase U. The two teams showed each other respect following the match, only to be suddenly laid out by The Good Brothers, who stood tall to end the segment.

Elsewhere on WWE NXT, Jacy Jayne defeated Arianna Grace following help from Jazmyn Nyx in a match that teased issues between the female contingent of Chase U as Thea Hail initially refused to interfere. Lash Legend also picked up a win over Kelani Jordan following a distraction from Jakara Jackson.

WWE NXT featured a main event of Lyra Valkyria vs. Shotzi for the NXT Women's Championship but the match was waved off after only a few minutes due to Shotzi suffering a serious knee injury following a freak accident where she hit her knee off the side of the ring while falling to the floor. Shotzi was unable to continue but WWE pivoted, with Ava announcing an open challenge instead.

This led to an impromptu main event of Lyra Valkyria vs. Lash Legend, with the NXT Women's Champion retaining her title after a brief flurry of offence from Legend.
