On the latest episode of After The Bell, WALTER named who he would like to face in a WWE ring.
"There would be a bunch of guys. When I first got into watching other wrestling than WWE I was watching a lot of Ring Of Honor. A lot of those guys are the top guys in WWE right now, so Daniel Bryan would be one of the matches I really wanted to do. Obviously Cesaro... He left to America before I really got going in Germany and in general, he's a great model for all of us German-speaking WWE talent that had just got in," The Ring General said.
"He's always been super supportive. As soon as we stepped foot in WWE he reached his hand out to all of us to be supportive. And he's a fantastic wrestler so he would be one of the guys I would really like to face. Regarding NXT right now, the one match I really wanted to do before COVID and it has to happen is against Finn Balor."
A match with Daniel Bryan looks unlikely at the moment, particularly as The American Dragon's WWE contract expired last week. Bryan's future was a hot topic on After The Bell, though, and Corey Graves and Vic Joseph didn't acknowledge that the former WWE Champion's contract had expired, only that he had been banished from SmackDown.
WALTER and Finn Balor also looked to be on a collision course last year ahead of NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin, but the match was ultimately scrapped because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A match with Cesaro could happen for WALTER if WWE wishes to book it.
