X Division Championship Match Announced For IMPACT Wrestling

TJP's title will be on the line on IMPACT Wrestling...

IMPACT Wrestling has announced that TJP will put his X Division Championship on the line against Josh Alexander on Tuesday's AXS television show.

Alexander became the new number one contender to the X Division title by winning the first-ever Triple Threat Revolver match at Saturday’s No Surrender pay-per-view, while TJP retained the belt against Rohit Raju on the same night.

The 33-year-old will now get the opportunity to take the belt from TJP on Tuesday in a show that will also see David Finlay and Juice Robinson of New Japan Pro Wrestling appear, continuing the developing storyline of the 'Forbidden Door' being opened.

Alexander is looking to claim his first singles title in IMPACT, having won the Tag Team titles twice with Ethan Page, while TJP is on his second X Division Championship reign, having beaten Raju at Final Resolution in December.

Tuesday evening will also see the debut of IMPACT Wrestling's new weekly show, BEFORE THE IMPACT, which will review Saturday's No Surrender and look ahead to the action on IMPACT Wrestling.
