'No Real Movement' On WWE Contract Talks With Natalya

Latest on WWE talks with Natalya

While the last word on Natalya's contract negotiations with WWE suggested the deal was "getting done", talks between the two sides appear to be slowing down.

In the latest update from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it was noted that there has been "no real movement on the new Natalya contract within WWE." The two sides are still negotiating, though, and working out details for the new contract.

Natalya has been a part of WWE since 2007 and she has been a regular on the main roster for the past 16 years. The 42-year-old is a former Divas Champion, SmackDown Women's Champion, and WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Tamina.

Natalya has been present on WWE NXT in recent months, having aligned with Karmen Petrovic. Natalya's most recent match on the Tuesday night show saw the winningest women's wrestler in WWE history defeat Izzi Dame on June 4.

Whether Natalya will end up re-signing is unknown but as of last month, she was said to be "keeping all options open." One of those options includes a Hart Family biopic that has been discussed following the success of The Iron Claw.
