Seth Rollins Undergoes Knee Surgery For Torn Meniscus

Becky Lynch has revealed that Seth Rollins had knee surgery

For those who saw Seth Rollins struggling to walk out of WrestleMania 40, this wasn’t just top tier selling - it was because he worked back-to-back nights of WrestleMania with a torn meniscus. The former World Heavyweight Champion looks to be taking some time away from the ring, especially since it has been revealed by his wife, Becky Lynch, that he has undergone surgery.

When speaking to Ireland’s RTE One (h/t TJR Wrestling), Lynch broke the news that he’d had surgery on his knee, and made the comment that his rehab would be helped by running after their child at home.

“So, he just got surgery on Tuesday. So he had knee surgery, he tore his meniscus a little while before WrestleMania, and so his rehab I suppose is running after a little three year old now. That’ll be great for his knee surgery.”

Rollins was diagnosed with a torn meniscus back in January, with the assumption being that he’d be fit and healthy by the time WrestleMania rolled around, given that he competed on both shows (and making a cameo in the main event of Night Two too). This was not the case though, and he did in fact work injured. Lynch did not reveal any sort of recovery or return timeline for Rollins, so it is not known when he will be back in the fold on WWE programming.
