WWE Name Pitches For CJ Perry To Return And Reunite With Bobby Lashley

It was recently revealed that CJ Perry has finished her short run with All Elite Wrestling, with Andrade El Idolo’s former manager departing the company some time in April having only joined AEW the prior September.

Whilst Perry has not revealed what her next steps are in her career, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T would like to see Perry - aka Lana - back in WWE, reunited with former client Bobby Lashley:

"That might be something to reignite Bobby right back into the fold of things that's going on with WWE, Hurt Business [sic] doesn't seem to be working out the way I'm sure they would have liked it for it to work out but Lana coming back man, that would be a huge, huge get,” said Booker on the Hall of Fame podcast.

Lana and Lashley were previously paired together on WWE TV in 2019, with the two getting married in kayfabe, before ‘splitting up’ after Lana cost Lashley Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship at Backlash 2020. Lashley immediately went on to form the first iteration of The Hurt Business with MVP, and now leads The Pride with Street Profits and B-Fab on WWE SmackDown.
