Hulk Hogan Cuts Trumpamania Speech To Endorse Donald Trump At RNC

Hulk Hogan wants Donald Trump to run wild

Hulk Hogan used all of his pro wrestling catchphrases while endorsing fellow WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump as the next president of the United States at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night.

Hogan, one of the final speakers before Trump officially accepted the Republican Party nomination for president of the United States, began his speech in typical fashion, cupping his ear as the people in attendance roared, "USA! USA!"

Hogan had a nine-minute speech at the convention, during which he ripped off his 'Real American' shirt to reveal a Trump-Vance t-shirt while shouting:

"What happened last week when they took a shot at my hero, and they tried to kill the next president of the United States, enough was enough and I said let Trumpamania run wild, brother! Let Trumpamania rule again! Let Trumpamania make America great again!"

Beyond tweaking his 'Hulkamania' moniker, Hogan compared Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance to his Mega Powers tag team with 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, calling the politicians the greatest tag team of his life who will "straighten" the United States out for "all the real Americans."

Hogan also said there was so much energy in the room he thought "maybe I was in Madison Square Garden, getting ready to win another world title."

Hogan then signed off in the only way he was likely to, saying: "So all you criminals, all you lowlifes, all you scumbags, all you drug dealers, and all you crooked politicians need to answer one question, brother. Whatcha gonna do when Donald Trump and all the Trumpamaniacs run wild on you, brother?"

Donald Trump beamed throughout, even blowing Hulk Hogan a little kiss at one point.

Hogan's endorsement of Donald Trump represents a change of heart for 'The Hulkster' since the 2000s. He previously endorsed Barack Obama in 2008 but that changed by 2012 and Hogan even pitched to be Donald Trump's running mate in 2016.

Hogan's endorsement of Trump in 2016 came one year after Terry Bollea became persona non grata with WWE after audio of him using the N-word multiple times to describe his daughter Brooke's then-boyfriend leaked online. WWE eventually brought Hogan back in 2018 and he has made sporadic appearances on WWE TV ever since, including earlier this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the birth of Hulkamania.
