ROH World Title Match, El Hijo Del Vikingo Vs. Komander Set For ROH Supercard Of Honor

We are one week away from Ring of Honor’s first PPV event of 2023, with Supercard of Honor XVI set for March 31.

After weeks of tension on ROH TV on HonorClub, ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli and long-time frenemy Eddie Kingston had a sit down with Caprice Coleman on the March 23 edition of ROH TV, exchanging barbed insults before Castagnoli officially threw down the gauntlet to Kingston, with Coleman confirming that the two will battle for the title at Supercard of Honor.

The ROH World Title won’t be the only title on the line at the show, with Tony Khan revealing on Twitter that the AAA Mega Championship will be contested at Supercard of Honor, with champion El Hijo Del Vikingo set to take on Komander in what will surely be one of the most jaw-dropping bouts of the night. Both men recently made their AEW debuts to rave reviews, and a match-up between the two on US soil has been the subject of much fantasy booking in recent weeks.

The line-up for the Reach for the Sky Ladder Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championships was also finalised, with The Lucha Bros, The Kingdom, Top Flight, RUSH & Dralistico, and Aussie Open set to do battle for the straps.
