Dana Brooke Signs Five Year Deal With WWE

Sticking around...

A handful of five-year contract extensions with WWE have been reported over the preceding days, The New Day being chief among them.

Joining those sticking with WWE for a long time is Dana Brooke, who broke the news in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Said 31-year-old SmackDown performer, "I’m willing to embrace anything that is thrown my way. Coming into 2020 and transitioning onto SmackDown, it’s a fresh start for me. I just signed a new five-year deal in WWE, and part of my goal is to build my own personal brand. And women empowerment is a key in the success of my career and a key for WWE. We can do what the male wrestlers have done over the years, and now women are finally being given that chance."

Brooke was called up to the main WWE roster from NXT in 2016. She spent the next three years as both a wrestler and manager on Monday Night Raw, before joining the SmackDown roster in this past October's Draft.
