Jeff Hardy Reveals Timescale For WWE Return

The Hardy Boyz are no longer the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions...

During this week's SmackDown Live, The Hardy Boyz came out and announced that they were relinquishing the blue brand's tag titles. Jeff was using crutches and confirmed his injury was the reason he and Matt we giving the titles up.

Kayla Braxton interviewed Jeff following last night's show and the man himself revealed that he will be having surgery in the next couple of days and expects to be out for 6-9 months: "My knee has been weak for a while but he (Lars Sullivan) just put the finishing point on it, man - it was a massacre. It's my worst nightmare now as I'm going to be out for 6-9 months.

"Hopefully the first four months go extremely well. My first injury in pro wrestling is when I tore my rotator cuff over a year ago. I made it the first six months when Matt and I first came back and then that happened, and then I made it a year doing the face paint and all that and now this has happened."
