Report: AEW Action Figures To Be Sold In Walmart In The US

Coming to stores soon...

During last week's episode of Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling announced they had partnered with Wicked Cool Toys and Jazwares to release their first collection of action figures. The first line will be released in the Summer and will feature AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Cody, Brandi Rhodes, and The Young Bucks.

At the New York Toy Fair over the weekend, the young promotion revealed further prototypes as future waves are set to be released every few months. The second set of figures will include Jon Moxley, Dustin Rhodes, Hangman Page, MJF, and The Lucha Brothers. Fans will also be able to purchase an AEW ring and a replica AEW World Championship belt.

Now, Mike Johnson at PWInsider has revealed their action figures will be sold in Walmart stores throughout the United States from August. This will be seen as a major coup for the promotion, with AEW set to be prominently displayed in one of the country's largest supermarkets.

Johnson penned: "In a major win for AEW, their new action figure line will be carried by Wal-Mart stores when they are released this August."

This also gives some hope to AEW fans in the UK, as so far, figures have only been available from Ringside Collectibles. With Walmart being the owners of Asda, however, AEW action figures may well crop up in supermarkets in the UK.
