Rey Fenix Stretchered Out After Wrestling Match In Texas

Rey Fenix was apparently injured during a tag team match at an AAW event in Austin, TX on Friday evening.

According to witness accounts, Fenix, while working alongside brother Pentagon Jr in a match against Myron Reed and AR Fox, was injured after executing a springboard cutter. The match was then abruptly finished, so that Fenix could receive medical attention.

Though the nature of injury has not been officially confirmed, those present have indicated that it was apparently some form of head/neck injury. Sources also noted that Fenix was thankfully moving his arms and legs, and was verbally responsive prior to being stretchered out of the venue.
