Ronda Rousey Vs. Nikki Bella Reportedly Set To Main Event WWE Evolution

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it seems that the planned main event for WWE Evolution in October will see Ronda Rousey taking on the former Divas Champion, Nikki Bella.
The seeds for this feud were planted during SummerSlam, with Nikki and her sister Brie sitting at ringside for Mrs Rowdy's match with Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship. The stars of Total Bellas then got into the ring and celebrated with Ronda after she brought the title home.
Some may lambast this decision as it isn't the proverbial dream match many have clamoured for. The obvious choice for those with a voice online appears to be Rousey taking on new SmackDown Live Women's Champion, Charlotte. However, you can't deny the potential meeting between Rousey and Bella is a smart decision by WWE, with the pair two of the bigger mainstream stars they have access to at the moment.
Nikki has not competed in a WWE ring since the Royal Rumble back in January, the same night Rousey debuted in the WWE. While this match is not one hundred per cent set in stone with evolution two months away, plans could always change and we could see Rousey face somebody else.
Should the match be confirmed for Evolution, it would be the third to be so after Alexa Bliss was announced as the opponent of WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus, while we also know who will contest the final of the second Mae Young Classic - but in case you don't, we won't spoil it for you.
