SPOILERS AHEAD
Max Caster’s first open challenge as a singles star went swimmingly, with the former AEW World Tag Team Champion getting absolutely stomped by a returning RUSH. The LFI leader yelled at associate Beast Mortos after the match.
The team of Samoa Joe and HOOK picked up a win over The Patriarchy’s Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian before getting walloped by Christian Cage and his metal folder. Elsewhere in tag action, Bryan Keith got a roll-up pin on Turbo Floyd as he and Chris Jericho defeated The Outrunners. Post-match, the Learning Tree performed a three-on-two beatdown on Floyd and Truth Magnum, but plans for Big Bill to chokeslam the pair through tables were interrupted as Bandido returned to make the save.
FTR picked up a defiant win over the Death Riders' Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta in a wild Mid-South Street Fight with all sorts of plunder utilised. Marina Shafir tried interfering but got put through a table for her troubles, whilst Cope and Jay White came out for a fight when Claudio Castagnoli also tried interfering on the Death Riders’ behalf. FTR got the win with a spike piledriver on Yuta on the announce desk, with Cash, Dax, Cope, and White taking it in turns to level Mox with finishers after the bout before Claudio pulled Moxley to safety.
Timeless Toni Storm then took to the ring to address her recent star performance as ‘the rookie’ Toni Storm, before informing Mariah May that her time as AEW Women’s World Champion was over. Elsewhere in the women’s division, Megan Bayne got a singles win over Hyena Hera, whilst Harley Cameron won her first-ever match, defeating Taya Valkyrie.
In the final match of the tapings, TNT Champion Daniel Garcia successfully defended his title in three-way action against Kyle O’Reilly and Lee Moriarty. After Garcia got the pin on Moriarty, The Infantry and Shane Taylor Promotions surrounded the ring, only for Undisputed Kingdom’s Adam Cole and Roderick Strong to run out and make the save.
