AJ Styles Reportedly Agrees New WWE Contract

There goes Kenny Omega's dream opponent...

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles was said to be one of many Superstars whose contracts were up very soon indeed. While the likes of Dean Ambrose, and maybe even The Usos, could be heading for the exit doors over the next month or so, it looks like The Phenomenal One's future is with Vince McMahon et al.

PWInsider are reporting that "all signs" are that Styles has come to terms with WWE on a new deal. They claim several of their sources have confirmed "the two entities had agreed on all the major points for a new deal," while more of their sources are also saying the deal has already been signed.

With AJ's current WWE contract set to expire next month, the former Bullet Club man is now being promoted for the company's shows in May where he will be taking on new United States Champion, Samoa Joe (as always, card subject to change, remember?).

This, no doubt, will be devastating news to Kenny Omega, among others, with The Best Bout Machine recently labelling Styles his dream opponent.

AJ will be facing Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35 in just under three weeks.
