Backstage Reaction To Headline Match At WWE NXT Roadblock
What did WWE think of this NXT Roadblock match?
WWE NXT held their latest edition of Roadblock on March 5 as a special edition of the Tuesday night show.
The match opened with a high stakes contest as Dijak went one-on-one with Joe Gacy in an Asylum Match and they used a variety of weapons against each other during the match. Dijak even hit a Moonault from the top of the cage back into the ring. The former T-Bar scored the victory in the end following the Feast Your Eyes.
The match was well received within WWE, with Fightful Select reporting that Dijak and Joe Gacy received a lot of praise backstage. In particular, Dijak's Moonsault from the top of the cage was marked out for commendation.
There was a small amount of criticism levelled at Dijak over the Moonsault on social media. Dijak has since tweeted, however:
"People who tell me I shouldn't do a moonsault off the top of a cage have never been T-Bar barely treading water on Main Event & tearfully staring at my phone waiting to be fired. I don't take a second of this for granted and I'm eternally grateful to @ShawnMichaels & @TripleH."
