Brock Lesnar's WWE career might legitimately be over following his apparent retirement at WrestleMania 42.

Lesnar has been moved to the alumni section of the WWE roster page on WWE.com, having previously been listed as an active member of the roster. Lesnar now finds his profile situated between Brinley Reece and Brodus Clay.

Brock Lesnar seemingly retired at WrestleMania 42 following his loss to Oba Femi. Lesnar removed his MMA gloves and boots in the ring before he signalled an 'X' to the fans in attendance and embraced Paul Heyman. An emotional Lesnar then waved to the crowd inside Allegiant Stadium as he made his way to the back, with the fans responding with chants of "Thank you, Brock."

A video package celebrated Lesnar's career on the Raw after WrestleMania, while Paul Heyman noted his former client should be moved to the "Forever" section of the "Then. Now. Forever" cold open for WWE TV, and the change was made shortly after.

There was doubt over whether Brock Lesnar was actually retired, however, with the belief within WWE being that the former WWE Champion's in-ring career was not over. The expectation was that Lesnar would retire in 2026, although SummerSlam was originally considered a more likely place for his final match due to the two-day event taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

If Brock Lesnar has indeed retired, he ends his pro wrestling career as a seven-time WWE Champion, three-time Universal Champion, and a one-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
