Dax Harwood Clarifies FTR Aren't Leaving AEW Following Shock Tag Team Title Loss

Dax Harwood isn't leaving AEW

FTR aren't going anywhere.

In a shocking moment on AEW Collision, FTR dropped the AEW World Tag Team Championships to Ricky Starks and Big Bill in the opening contest. The match only went four minutes and Cash Wheeler was quickly taken out after Big Bill Chokeslammed him through the announce table. Big Bill then hit Dax Harwood with several chokeslams before Starks picked up the win following a Spear.

The shock title change immediately fuelled speculation that FTR could be on their way out of AEW, which only intensified after Dax Harwood tweeted: "What a run. Love you all. Top Guys Out."

"Top Guys out" is often how FTR end promos and that was simply the case here, with Dax Harwood clarifying soon after his initial tweet that FTR weren't exiting the promotion.

"Guys, I say 'Top Guys Out' all the time. We ain't going nowhere. This is our home," Harwood wrote.

FTR are under contract with AEW on a long-term basis, having signed new deals with the promotion in either late 2022 or early 2023. Cash Wheeler is currently at the centre of legal issues, though, having been arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm in August.
