Drew McIntyre Says He'll Leave WWE If He Fails To Win At WrestleMania 40

Drew McIntyre has made a bold statement ahead of WrestleMania 40

Drew McIntyre is set for one of the biggest matches of his career at WrestleMania 40 Sunday, as he challenges Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Scottish Psychopath is looking to win his first world title in front of a live audience, and he is banking on himself to do so.

During an appearance at WWE World yesterday, McIntyre was shown in a video from @AlexMcCarthy88 of the Daily Mail on Xof McIntyre speaking on his match with Rollins and what he will do if he loses.

“If I can’t win against Seth Rollins on Sunday, I’ll — quite frankly, shouldn’t be in this industry. I’ll leave WWE.”

This could of course all be talk, but McIntyre’s WWE contractual situation has been an ongoing story for several months, with there being reportedly no new deal signed as of yet, though there is reportedly an expectation internally within WWE that McIntyre will remain with WWE and sign a new deal. That being said, a loss could well see McIntyre take a break or, in fact, leave. Stay tuned for WrestleMania 40 Sunday.
