Eddie Kingston: Cesaro Doesn't Have The Balls To Come To AEW

The two had a storied feud on the indies

With the news that Cesaro has left WWE, fans started speculating about what his next move could be. But ask Eddie Kingston what’s next for the former Claudio Castagnoli and he’ll tell you ‘not AEW’.

“All I am going to say is, he doesn't have the balls to come to AEW,” posted Kingston on Twitter. Despite not tagging Castagnoli or mentioning his name, fans picked up on his inferred meaning, with the two having a highly publicised feud across the independent scene.

The two last wrestled 11 years ago, with Castagnoli winning their final singles bout at the CHIKARA Creatures From The Tar Swamp event.

Despite the pair having not wrestled in over a decade, Kingston has kept the feud alive, disparaging Castagnoli’s name in interviews and on social media, with Kingston saying as recently as December 2021 that “If he ever comes here, we are gonna have a problem. Whenever his contract is up, I don’t really pay attention to what he does.”

So Claudio vs. Eddie one more time in AEW? Time will tell.
