Finn Balor & WALTER Tease Future Match At WWE UK Live Event
The two had a staredown
Finn Balor has teased a potential future match with WALTER after a brief stare down between the two at a WWE United Kingdom live event.
Balor wasn't in attendance for this week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw as he remains on the tour of the UK, which is due to conclude on Wednesday. The show in Leeds on Monday 8 November opened with WALTER defeating Cesaro in a dream match in of itself, but that wouldn't be the final time the live crowd would see the former NXT UK Champion.
The third bout on the card put Balor up against Irish compatriot Sheamus, with 'The Prince' claiming the victory. However, WALTER would then remerge on the stage, leading to a brief confrontation between him and Balor.
A fan in attendance, Harley Johnson, was able to get a photo of the encounter, which is viewable below.
A feud between Balor and WALTER has previously been teased by WWE, with it believed that the duo were heading towards a match at NXT TakeOver: Dublin last year before the event was scrapped due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Both WALTER and Balor have spoken of their disappointment that the match didn't get to happen, and have named each other as a dream opponent in WWE in recent interviews.
