Former ROH Titleholder Comments On Potential Return

A former ROH Champion has spoken about returning to the promotion

Prior to ROH’s hiatus and subsequent sale in 2021, Kenny King was a big part of the promotion, winning the ROH World Television Championship on two occasions and reigning as ROH World Tag Team Champion alongside the likes of Dragon Lee and Rhett Titus. However, since the company made a comeback under the ownership of Tony Khan, Kenny King hasn’t been present.

Although King is now in Impact Wrestling, he hasn’t closed the door on Ring Of Honor and has even stated a desire to work there again. Speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, King discussed ROH;

“I like what I see over there. I would kill for another chance to wrestle Claudio Castagnoli. He's always been one of my favorites. I like what they have going on over there, and if there's an opportunity at some point to go over there, I definitely wouldn't be opposed to that, or any other wrestling opportunity for the next couple of years while you still have me."

King’s deal with Impact supposedly comes to an end next February, though there has been crossover between the likes of Impact, AEW, and ROH in the past, so he may not have to wait until then to appear on the brand.
