GCW Match Stopped Due To Gruesome Injury

Fortunately, the talent is said to be okay

A match had to be stopped at Thursday's GCW Dead On Arrival show in Detroit, Michigan, due to a nasty injury.

Slade and Hoodfoot faced off in a Death Match at the show but the match was scrapped after 94 seconds when a light tube spot went wrong. For the spot, Slade broke a light tube before he stabbed Hoodfoot in the arm. Hoodfoot quickly began losing a lot of blood from his arm, though, with the blood pouring out as a referee tried to tape up the wound.

That ultimately didn't work and the referee stopped the match.

Game Changer Wrestling founder Brett Lauderdale tweeted after the match that Hoodfoot was fine and had been taken to hospital to receive stitches.

"Quick update Hoodfoot had a nasty gash but he is OK. Wanted to go back to the ring to finish but thats not gonna happen tonite haha. Hes headed to the hospital for a few stitches and will live to fight to another day!" Lauderdale wrote
