IMPACT Wrestling Fires Joey Ryan And Dave Crist, Suspends Michael Elgin Until Further Notice

Over the past six days, brave men and women have shared their stories of surviving abuse in the British professional wrestling scene and beyond through #SpeakingOut.
Multiple stories included members of the IMPACT Wrestling roster Michael Elgin, Joey Ryan and Dave Crist.
A former student of Crist's said he tried to groom her, and an ex-girlfriend by the name of Hannah shared on social media that Crist abused her during their relationship. Independent Wrestler Kaitlin Diemond also shared her story as she said Elgin sent her unsolicited pictures of his genitals in 2016. Numerous allegations of abuse have emerged involving Joey Ryan.
Following the allegations, IMPACT Wrestling announced last night that Dave Crist and Joey Ryan had been fired. Michael Elgin was also suspended until further notice while the promotion reviews the allegations of misconduct against him.
IMPACT issued the following statement: "IMPACT Wrestling confirms that it has terminated its contracts with Dave Crist and Joey Ryan, effective immediately. In addition, it has suspended Michael Elgin pending further review of allegations of misconduct."
