Jack Evans Will Not Be Re-Signed By AEW

Jack Evans will not be re-signed by AEW

AEW star Jack Evans took to Twitter yesterday to inform his fans that he will not be re-signing with the company.

Evans, whose contract expires at the end of this month, signed with Tony Khan's promotion in 2019. Though he occasionally appeared on Dynamite and Rampage, he primarily wrestled on the AEW Dark YouTube show.

He tweeted: "My time with #AEW has been a fun and enjoyable but it has come to an end as I will not be re-signed when my contract ends at the end of April. I’d like to thank everyone at AEW and the AEW fans for the opportunity".

His last AEW match was a loss to Wheeler Yuta on Dark, which aired on April 12 (taped January 15).

Prior to signing with AEW, Jack Evans wrestled all over the world for promotions like Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, AAA and Dragon Gate.

There is no word on the contract status of Evans's partner Angelico, who returned from a torn ACL on this past week's episode of AEW Dark.
