Major Star Believes WWE Need To Book CM Punk Vs. Roman Reigns Within 6 Months Due To Punk Uncertainty

Uncertainty around CM Punk has one major WWE star worried about a match with Roman Reigns

CM Punk's recent track record within professional wrestling has one major WWE star worried about a potential future match with Roman Reigns.

Reports since Punk's WWE return at Survivor Series have noted that plans are in motion for Punk to work a programme with Seth Rollins before eventually entering a feud with Roman Reigns at some point down the line. Dave Meltzer has since noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE are planning "to take a lot of time" before getting to Punk vs. Reigns and the feeling within the company is the match will be gigantic when it does happen.

A major WWE star would rather the company do the match within six months, however, due to "the injury risk or uncertainty with Punk." The 45-year-old was injury-prone during 2022, sustaining two injuries that put him out of action for almost a year, along with his AEW suspension over Brawl Out. Punk was also at the centre of plenty of backstage issues within All Elite Wrestling, although the former WWE Champion is reportedly aware he does not hold the same power in WWE as he did in AEW.

Following Punk signing with WWE, the reaction was initially mixed within the company. How Punk is received has since improved after he was humble backstage at the post-Survivor Series edition of Raw.

Following CM Punk's return, Cultaholic Wrestling has released an epilogue to PUNKVEMBER
