Miro To Appear In New CBS Series 'East New York'

Miro is a new CBS series

All Elite Wrestling's Miro is branching out into acting.

The former TNT Champion was featured in the trailer for the new CBS TV series 'East New York' and he will be in the show's pilot.

Miro plays Nikolai Dushkin in the pilot and his character can be seen asking for a lawyer while being interrogated by police.

East New York is set to air in the autumn on Sunday nights at 9 pm. The series follows a newly promoted police captain in East New York by the name of Regina Haywood as she leads a diverse group of officers amidst a period of social upheaval and the beginnings of gentrification.

Miro is yet to appear on AEW TV in 2022, with his last match taking place back at Full Gear 2021 when he lost to Bryan Danielson. God's Favourite Champion re-signed with AEW last year and he is under contract with the promotion until 2026.

The 36-year-old was previously out of action with a hamstring injury but he has been ready to return to the squared circle for some time.
